Yooper Beer Brat Picnic April 8
Our Yooper potluck beer brat picnic returns to the First Responders Rec Center Pavilion on Wednesday, April 8th, with brat serving starting at 5 p.m. Feel free to come anytime after 4:30. To help us plan, could you let us know how many people you’ll be bringing by noon on Monday, April 6th. We’ll take care of the brats, buns, condiments, chips, and sauerkraut. There is no fee for members.
We’ve set up four categories for the RSVP based on your last name: appetizers, side dish, salad, and dessert. Please bring enough for 8 to 10 people. Sometimes, we need to tweak what we ask you to bring based on your last name, but it’s just a rough idea. Seating is limited at all Villages pavilions, so bringing lawn chairs might be a good idea. There isn’t enough picnic bench space as our group grows. It is BYOB.
If it rains a lot that afternoon, we’ll have to cancel, so please check back to the website and watch your email if things get threatening. There is no stormy weather cover with a pavilion.
We do need volunteers to bring 6 foot tables. We actually need 6 tables. Plus we need a food czar to help guide people and a few volunteers to help set up.
This rec center is off State Route 42. If you need GPS to find the rec center this might help.
